Grammy Awards 2016: Show will air live on west coast for first time
The Grammys will air live in the Pacific and Mountain time zones for the first time ever this year.
It will join other awards shows, like the Oscars, the Emmys and the Golden Globes, in broadcasting the show live, coast-to-coast.
That means viewers on the west coast can tune into the Grammys at 5 p.m. PST, while those on Mountain Time can watch at 6 p.m. Stations in the Pacific time zone will also rebroadcast the entire awards show after the live show.
The move will help viewers avoid spoilers on social media or other online sources.
LL Cool J will host the Awards show from the Staples Center, which will air at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
