Former Gitmo Detainee: Pakistan Sold Us to the U.S. for $5000 Per Head

El Khabar:
The 33 year-old Algerian former Guantanamo inmate Bashir told the Algerian daily newspaper al Khabar that the Pakistani authorities sold him together with hundreds of other Arab nationals to the U.S. army for $5000 per head. "Prisoner 175" added upon his return to his hometown that he had spent several months at the U.S. military base in Kandahar before being transferred to Guantanamo, where he claimed he was systematically tortured.
