Flockhart Flexes For Dave

During an interview on The Late Show with David Letterman Thursday night, Ally McBeal star Calista Flockhart spoke out about her much speculated weight problem.

She said she doesnÂ't pay attention to all the gossip that sheÂ's anorexic. Flockhart was very direct about how she feels about all the media attention.

"I would like to take this opportunity just to tell the press to kiss my skinny white ass," Flockhart said.

The actress was in New York, starring in the off-Broadway play "bash".

The Fox series is FlockhartÂ's television debut. She previously acted on Broadway in The Glass Menagerie, where she won the Theater World Award.

Her film credits include the recent A Midsummer Night's Dream, Drunks, Telling Lies In America and The Birdcage, which received the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Ensemble.
