ESPN Producer Neil Goldberg Loses Job After Peeping Tom Scandal
FARMINGTON, Conn. (CBS/AP) ESPN producer Neil Goldberg has parted ways with the sports network after being charged with public indecency after a peeping Tom complaint at a Connecticut apartment complex.
ESPN spokesman Mike Soltys confirmed Monday that 52-year-old producer no longer works for the company. Goldberg had been the coordinating producer of motorsports coverage for Connecticut-based ESPN.
Goldberg surrendered to police last Tuesday after admitting watching through a window last month as a neighbor got dressed.
Another woman who was walking her dog had reported seeing a man outside on a stool peering through the window and masturbating.
Goldberg is due in Hartford Superior Court on Wednesday. He was released from police custody after posting a $1,000 bond.
