Detroit woman killed after arranging date with man online
DETROIT --Police say a young woman found fatally stabbed in Detroit had gone missing after saying she arranged a date with a man she met online.
CBS Detroit reports that 23-year-old Cynthia Worthy was last seen at her home on Friday, Aug. 14 at around 3 p.m. Police said Worthy had met a man on a "social media escorting website" and scheduled a date for 5 p.m. that day.
Her body was discovered Monday on the city's west side.
Police have not said if a suspect has been identified.
