Connecticut police make arrest after man falls to his death

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- Police in central Connecticut say an argument that turned physical ended when a man fell three stories to his death.

CBS Connecticut reports that the victim fell out of a window Saturday during an alleged argument with 23 year old Harvey Carr. The victim suffered a serious head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the New Britain police.

"It was determined that the victim fell from the window as a result of a physical altercation involving Carr immediately preceding the fall," police said in a statement posted on to the department's Facebook page. "It does not appear that this was a random incident. Carr and the victim are known to each other and were arguing."

The identity of the victim has not been released. Carr faces one count of manslaughter in the first degree and is expected to be arraigned Monday.
