New Ammo In Case Against T.I.

The U.S. Attorney's office announced Monday it plans to introduce three instances when T.I. illegally possessed guns, ammunition and a silencer, "all after having been convicted of a felony offense."

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, faces federal weapons charges following an Oct. 13 arrest hours prior to the BET Hip-Hop Awards for allegedly trying to purchase unregistered machine guns. The rapper was released on bond but is under house arrest.

The first case dates back to 2001 when Harris allegedly carried a concealed 9 mm pistol though the arrest did not lead to a criminal conviction. The second arrest occurred in 2002 when he was convicted of carrying a 10 mm pistol. The third instance came when a Dec. 2004 search warrant of Harris' home reportedly yielded a firearm with a silencer, ammunition, and photographs of Harris holding firearms.

A Shrek Christmas Tradition?

2Already the star of three blockbusters, Shrek will premiere in his own Christmas special, "Shrek the Halls", which debuts Wednesday on ABC-TV.

"Shrek the Halls" catches up with Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) as he strives for holiday bliss with Princess Fiona (voiced by Cameron Diaz) and their children. However, the Christmas Eve arrival of unexpected guests including Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) bring out the Scrooge in Shrek.

Cameron Diaz hopes the special will spawn a holiday tradition. "It's just wonderful to see how they celebrate their Christmas and what it means to them," Diaz told The Associated Press via phone interview. "And the humor is there and the beauty is there and the message is there."

David Beckham Goes Down Under

3David Beckham and his Los Angeles Galaxy teammates held a workout at the Olympic stadium in Sydney, Australia, Monday before substantially less than the sellout crowd of 80,000 that is expected there for an exhibition match the following night.

Becks appeared to be concerned about his left ankle several times, clutching it during training and having treatment on the pitch, but Los Angeles coach Ruud Gullit said Beckham will play - hopefully all 90 minutes - in the friendly against Sydney FC on Tuesday night.

He claimed he was only rearranging his clothing around the ankle.

Beckham later took a motor launch down Sydney Harbour to a pontoon set up in the shadows of the landmark Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, where he kicked rugby balls, Australian Rules footballs and soccer balls in a sponsor's promotion with local football stars. He had a little trouble with the oval shaped balls, but showed no signs of the right knee and left ankle injuries that limited his first Major League Soccer season with the Galaxy to just five matches.

The soccer heart-throb flew into Sydney on Sunday aboard a private jet from London, was expected to be the guest of honor at a reception on Monday night that had the city's social set clamoring for invitations.

Miley Cyrus celebrated turning 15 with more than 15,000 hometown friends, who serenaded her with "Happy Birthday" toward the end of her Nashville concert, complete with pyrotechnic displays and a cake delivered onstage.

"I'll tell you guys that my main wish when my parents asked me, 'Miley, what do you want for your 15th birthday?', the only thing that I had to say was, 'I want to be here at home with Nashville and all of you guys,"' the star of the hit Disney TV show "Hannah Montana" told the crowd, according to People.com.

The "Best of Both Worlds" show Friday was sold out.

"The reason that I do what I do is for all of you guys," she said. "Anyone from a small town can go out there and live their dream, and so to be here with you guys tonight on my birthday is amazing."

For the encore, her dad, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, came out with an acoustic guitar to sing their signature duet, "Ready, Set, Don't Go," and included her sister Brandi Glenn Cyrus on backup guitar.

"I'd like to bring out my best friend - that just about says it all - my daddy," Miley announced.

When the song ended, Billy Ray hugged Miley, telling her, "Happy birthday, little girl."

Hogans On The Road To Divorce?
5
According to the St. Petersburg Times, Linda Marie Bollea, the wife of wrestler Hulk Hogan, has filed for divorce. That the couple was having problems was no secret to fans of their reality show, "Hogan Knows Best." In an episode earlier this year, the two complained about their relationship but appeared to sort things out after counseling.

According to the St. Pete Times, a reporter called Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, and inadvertently broke the news when calling for confirmation. Bollea called back about five minutes later.

"I'm kind of shocked," he told the reporter. "You caught me off-guard. My wife has been in California for about three weeks. ... Holy smokes. Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me. ... I just pulled over to the side of the road for five minutes to find out what was going on here."

The Bollea family has been under considerable strain, especially after their son Nick's car accident, which left his passenger severely injured.

Dennis Rodman Sued

A former beverage manager at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas has sued Dennis Rodman in federal court. The plaintiff, Sara Robinson, said she was working in the resort's Cuba Libre bar in March 2006 when Rodman, a hotel guest, began "making a scene" by trying to climb atop the bar after failing to gain her full attention. She said he grabbed her and rubbed his body against hers. The alleged assault culminated with an open-handed slap of Robinson's behind, she said.

Robinson also accuses her former employer of retaliating against her after she complained about Rodman's behavior.

"Hannah Montana" Has A Role Model: Beyonce

Miley Cyrus says she gets in trouble just like any other teen.

"Well, I had a credit card and it's like you have to be responsible. I lost it in like two days," Cyrus told Oprah Winfrey on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in a segment that aired Wednesday. "I'm still in trouble."

Cyrus, the star of the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana," appeared with her father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. He said he doesn't worry about her because "she's got a great head on her shoulders."

She said her mother, Tish, gives her news clippings about Beyonce Knowles as an example of a star remaining humble.

Miley told Winfrey that she's allowed to date, but her dad is "like, weird" about it.

"The other day I had one of my guy friends over and he was, he was hiding in the kitchen. We were outside just like hanging out and I look around ... and my dad's standing there like this. He's standing there with his German shepherd watching us and I'm, like, 'Dad, you're gonna scare him. I'm not going to have any more friends.'"

Billy Ray Cyrus protested to Winfrey that he was just kidding, not trying to check up on his daughter and her boyfriend.

"Because they knew I was there," he told Winfrey. "It's not like I was spying."

Science Guy Wants Ex-Fiancee Out Of His Life

Bill Nye is seeking a restraining order against his ex-fiancee -- and it's not because of some bad chemistry.

Nye, who hosted the educational PBS series "Bill Nye, the Science Guy," alleges Blair Tindall tried to poison his vegetable garden, according to court records.

Nye, 51, identified Tindall as his ex-fiancee, even though the two announced in February 2006 that they were married by the Rev. Rick Warren, pastor and author of "The Purpose-Driven Life."

Tindall, author of "Mozart in the Jungle" and a former concert oboist, admitted in a declaration that she emptied two bottles of weed killer in the garden.

In court papers posted on the Web site The Smoking Gun, Tindall said that after marrying Nye, the two bought the Studio City home for $1 million. But when they found out their marriage license was "invalid," Nye "ordered me not to move into our home" and the relationship ended.

Distress over the "faux marriage" and a series of financial and personal problems led to "a foolish, sophomoric act of poor judgment that was only intended to harm flowers, and certainly not people," she said.
