Body of Dynasty Myles, missing Detroit mother, found, report says
(CBS) DETROIT - The body of Dynasty Myles, a 23-year-old mother last seen on New Year's Day, was found Tuesday in an abandoned home on Detroit's northwest side, CBS Detroit reports.
Myles' family's lawyer told WWJ Newsradio Thursday that a positive identification has been made and that family members are devastated by the news.
Myles was last seen at the Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn, Mich. after leaving her young daughter with her parents in Southfield, Mich., CBS Detroit reports.
Evidence collected at the abandoned home reportedly suggests Myles was dragged into the home against her will. Officials are not saying how long her body had been there.
According to the station, Myles' death has not officially been ruled a homicide. The Detroit Free Press reports an autopsy is scheduled for this weekend.
Crime Stoppers is currently offering a $1,000 reward for information on her disappearance. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
