Baby girl born at World Trade Center train station

A woman went into labor early Tuesday morning at the World Trade Center train station in New York

NEW YORK -- Port Authority police say a healthy baby girl has been born at the World Trade Center PATH station.

The woman, her husband and their 2-year-old son were on their way to the hospital at around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Nature had other plans.

When the mother said it was time, officers quickly began preparing the concourse for the special arrival.

CBS New York reports that Officer Brian McGraw determined the birth was imminent and delivered the baby. It was his second delivery on the job.

The newborn, Asenat Abdrabo, weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces.

She and mom were taken to a hospital.
