Amy Tan on CTM Reads on Mon.

(CBS News) Amy Tan is the author of the best-selling debut novel "The Joy Luck Club." Since it was published in 1989, Tan's books have sold more than five million copies worldwide, and been translated into 35 languages.

Now, Tan brings readers to early 20th century Shanghai in "The Valley of Amazement." On "CBS This Morning" Monday, Tan will discuss her book, the latest pick for "CBS This Morning Reads." Also, be sure to check back on CBSThisMorning.com for more with Tan on her new book and her writing work.
