"48 Hours" podcast: "Shadow of Death" preview
On Feb. 9, 2014, police in California responded to a 911 call in the affluent community of San Juan Capistrano. Brad and Andra Sachs had been gunned down in their bed; their 8-year-old son was shot and left paralyzed. The intruder shot at and missed another daughter, and left a third sibling untouched.
The shooting looked like a hit job. Was it a business deal gone bad or was the enemy closer to home? "48 Hours" correspondent Troy Roberts investigates in "Shadow of Death," airing Saturday, Oct. 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
Meghann Cuniff, of the Orange County Register, was one of the first reporters on the scene and talks with "48 Hours" about the case.
