Davie police and other agencies arrested 25-year-old Braveone Jones on two counts of attempted murder in a Sept. 15 shooting that injured two men, but the rapper was not arrested.
The shooting took place around 11 a.m., according to Fort Lauderdale police.
The two suspects who were identified as Dareon Pubien, 18, and Sean Thompson, 25, face multiple charges.
Investigators believe the man was shot after breaking into an Airbnb and getting into an altercation with the person renting it.
The department said the victim is not cooperating with police.
An investigation is now ongoing.
The shooting was reported shortly after 8 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police said the Fort Lauderdale Traffic Homicide Unit was at the scene due to the seriousness of the injury.
Ft. Lauderdale officers said a woman escaped an alleged domestic violence incident and called for help, leading to an hours-long standoff.
The incident began in Hallandale Beach at around 4:45 p.m. Thursday when officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the Golden Isles Safe Neighborhood District.

Police describe the suspect as a black man between 16 and 21 years old with a short afro.
The mother, who identified herself only as Chrissy, said the assailant approached them from behind and began yelling at her son.

The suspect is said to have fled in a dark colored vehicle, according to police.
