Dog killed in Indiana house fire, family escapes
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A dog was killed in a house fire in Hobart, Indiana Sunday night.
Multiple fire departments worked to put out the fire that gutted the house on Wabash Street.
Fire officials said smoke alarms helped ensure the family could get out safely. Sadly, the dog did not survive.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
